- Gresham Grade School, later West Gresham Elementary, is located at 330 W Powell and was for many years the only school serving Downtown Gresham. It stands on the former site of several early Gresham schools. Built in 1923 by the Stockton Brothers, it closed in 2020 due to inadequate size and structural issues.
