1983-06-11
Gresham, Multnomah County, Oregon, United States
Color photo of the Centennial High School Marching Band ("Awesome Eagle Show Band") in the Grand Floral Parade. The letter squad is leading the column, made up of girls wearing blue blouses and black skirts, each carrying a white shield with a single large red letter that together spell out "CENTENNIAL". The band is a distance behind them, with two drum majors in white uniforms between the band and the letter squad. A large crowd lines the street on both sides. Water carriers, likely band parents, walk alongside the group.
